

Academic scholarships , ranging in value from 10% to 50% of fees, are awarded at ages 11 and 13, on the basis of performance in the entrance examinations.
Scholarships are also awarded for music, drama, art, sport or design/technology, based on interview and/or audition, supported by school reports and a folio of supporting evidence.
Sixth Form scholarships to a maximum of 50% are also available, based on GCSE results, with specific awards available for music, drama, art, sport and design/technology. All scholarships are tenable throughout the holder’s time at the School, subject to satisfactory progress, conduct and participation.
Dates of forthcoming Entrance and Scholarship Examinations, normally held in January, are available from the Registrar.
Financial assistance may be available in the form of a means-tested bursary, renewable annually, dependent upon parents’ financial circumstances and on completion of a confidential statement of such circumstances. Forms are available from the Bursar.
Members of HM Forces are requested to contact the Registrar for details of the favourable bursary arrangements for Service personnel who qualify for the Boarding Schools’ Allowance [BSA] for their children.
