In years 7-9 the pupils’ follow a course that is based on the demands of the National Curriculum. It is constantly being updated and refined to meet the demands of the pupils’ and the ever changing nature of Geography. The broad curriculum topics vary but the emphasis and focus in Year 7 is local, regional and national, in Year 8 the emphasis is on European Geography and in year 9 the focus turns Global. |

Syllabus Years 10 and 11 - GCSE
At GCSE the pupils follow the OCR Examination course (Bristol Project). This specification allows the progression from years 7-9. It develops the knowledge, skills and understanding further and allows pupils to integrate different aspects of Geography and allow them to reflect on their own values and opinions.

Post 16 studies follow the AQA Geography syllabus. This syllabus is designed to increase the choice offered to students studying GCE Geography, allowing for specialism and progression to higher education and employment. |
